Experience

I have fourteen years of experience as a professional translator and proofreader including five years as a full-time employee of Volkswagen AG, where one of my key responsibilities was translating documents for the Supervisory Board.

Fluency and eloquence

I hold a first-class degree in English (University of York, UK) and am sensitive to the nuances of the English language; I love creating texts that flow and sound natural.

Attention to detail

I completed an apprenticeship in proofreading and copy-editing at a publishing services company in Cambridge, UK and subsequently worked as an in-house academic editor for two years. I am truly a stickler for detail and can deliver publication-ready (copy-edited) texts if desired.
